Hey this is Tony was so strong in this video I’m going to be talking about this waterproof tackle bag that’s made by B. W. sports now the reason I got this bag I mainly fish from a kayak and paddle board and I was looking for something light weight to keep my tackle in and that would keep it from getting wet specially if you got stuck in a rainstorm or took on a pretty good wave you don’t want your tackle and your tackle box is getting soaked because they could rest over time especially if you don’t drive everything out so this waterproof tackle bag into talk about the pros and cons of it and also some tips when you are using this bag so as far as some of the features you have a main compartment up here which you can keep your main tackle and and then you have 2 little side pocket you have 1 on 1 side then you have another on the other side over here which you can see there and the main compartment is very roomy you can see here so you would have inside now I don’t typically keep this much tackle with me.
but you can see I have 430 600 size Plano waterproof boxes in there and then I have 3 Plano liquid bait wallets that I keep all my goal Bates and Anna holds it very well also on the inside you can see it has these little side pouches which you can keep your phone or car keys or pliers scissors anything like that has 1 on 1 side and also has another 1 on the other side there and that’s pretty much all of the compartments on it again it’s very roomy as you can see there you can all plenty of tackle if need be now the main compartment here this is the compartment that is claimed to be waterproof and the side compartments the side pouches here these are considered water resistant now I don’t really claim anything to be. 100 percent waterproof I would claim this to be more water resistant than anything but if you want anything that you really want to keep dry I would definitely keep it in that main compartment the big compartment and if you have anything that you don’t mind getting a little wet or little damp you’d keep those on the side pockets now as far as the pros and cons of the bag obviously the number one pro is that it’s waterproof water resistant so if you are fishing on a vessel such as a kayak or paddle board or even a blue where he might get rained on and you don’t have anywhere to store your tackle to keep it dry this is definitely a great option .
also it’s very light weight again it is just a bag so pretty much the only weight that comes from it is whatever you put inside of it it’s not like a dry boxer tackle box that might add 4 to 5 pounds depending on how big it is so lightweight very convenient again if you are fishing from a paddle board or a kayak then another pro about this bag is that the price is pretty competitive with other tackle bags about the same size however again this one is water resistant as opposed to some of those soft sided bags where when they get wet they’re pretty much soaked all day also whatever’s inside you run the risk of it getting wet so it runs about 55 to 60 Bucks on Amazon that’s where you can find these that’s where I purchased this one and again most tackle bags of the same size will typically run you about the same price now as far as the cons about the bag this is the only handle it has only has one handle up top and it would be nice if it actually had a shoulder strap that way you can carry your rods or any other gear you had with you but only has that a little strapped right there that handle but you could attach a longer a shoulder strap to it quite possibly just to free up your hands so you can carry your other gear around another con that I found is that the side pouches get more if you’re in them the outside material is there. Friend then the material from the main body this is more of like a canvas type of material and when this gets wet waters eventually will start to seep through and this is more of a vinyl material which is more waterproof so if you do put anything in these pouches make sure you don’t mind it getting a little way or a little damp I feel like it would have been a lot more ideal if the side pouches were built the same way that the main bigger palace was built with this type of vinyl material and then the last con of this bag .
I’m going to circle back around to the price with it being about 55 to 60 Bucks for some people that’s pretty steep however it will save whatever you have in your bag that you don’t want to get wet so if you have some losers in there that you don’t want to get wet and rusted out you’re gonna have to replace hooks and everything like that or you may have some electronics that you don’t want to get wet and you can keep him in here and keep them safe so as far as some tips when using this bag one of the biggest tips I can give is make sure you don’t have any sharp objects just laying loose inside the bag or near it because any sharp hooks or knives or anything that’s loose laying around can definitely puncture the material and that will ruin the integrity of the bag being waterproof so just be careful of that also with these bags and just because water can’t get in also means that water can’t get out so I highly recommend keeping some of these silica beat packs or silicon gel you usually find these in shoe boxes or anything like that and you can just keep these inside and that will help absorb any moisture that might get in there because you may be fishing throughout the day and your bag might be left open you might get some splash in their that you don’t know about so definitely keep some of these just to help out with that just toss them in the box or in the bag let him sit on the bottom also at the end of the day make sure the inside is completely dry just in case you didn’t get any type of moisture in the air because. Because if you come home for the day and you leave the sealed up and there’s moisture inside it’s gonna ruin all your hooks and all you losers and any type of metal objects you may have in there so definitely wipe this out clean dried out make sure there’s no moisture in there when you do go to store it so that will wrap up this review of this waterproof tackle bag made by B.
